i had the most incredible thanksgiving ever. no contest. i rediscovered the love of a family which i had previously convinced myself that i did not have.
i saw my little brother whom i had not seen in 7 years, who is now a grown man. i saw my sister whom i had not seen in 10 years. i found pictures of my dad when he was 20 years old, and pictures of my mom and dad on their wedding day. it was so amazing. the entire experience was so healing, for my whole family, thati know it was magic happening. lots of crying. lots of talking. lots of information that i never had access to. wow. i feel that i put my past to rest. finally. i wish everyone could feel like this, and experience the understanding that i was lucky enuf to receive. yep. i am happy. hope everyone else had a good holiday.

. my turkey day was nice. i worked through most of it though. went over to my aunts house where several family members didnt expect me to show up. spent some time with my nephew from out of town and all that jazz. a good night all around.
