6am roll around and I stuck my leg out from under the covers... Brrr time to hit snooze and roll over.
7am rolls around in 9 minute increments. Time to turn the alarm clock off, I'll just snuggle under the covers for a but just to warm myself before getting up.
8am arrives like a Klaxon I don't care if it's cold.. I gota be where I got to be at 9am. I could could skip a shower that should save me 15 -20 mins... sniff sniff nope can't skip a shower. but I do set a new personal record for sh!t, shower and shave. Don't have time for breakfast or to make lunch. Grab apples shove them in a bag. No leisurely cup of Tea for me this morning its stale coffee reanimated in the microwave.
Hitting the road don't even want to look at the time. I have three lights before I hit the interstate. I'm just going to call all the lights stale.. stale yellow squeak through before it turns red. The stale red well I just take my foot of the accelerator just to give me time to coast up to the light before it almost turns green. Green light I don't even notice it.
On the interstate I fine the boy racer and slip in behind him mentally egging him on " is this all you can do" I'm not even looking at my speed now all I know is this dude will get pulled over before me ;0)
I pull up and snag a parking spot as close to the building without being inside. I jump out and run in Swipe card in hand.
