Its Wednesday, yeah Hump day. What a most excellent day to to talk about humps bumps and curves. If I quote from a definition I might say
"Curved lines are generally used to create a sense of flow within an image.
They are also generally more aesthetically pleasing, as we associate them with soft things. Compared to straight lines, curves provide a greater dynamic influence in a picture."
To me I'd define it as looking at a photo and getting from Point A to point B without rushing ;0) repetition is another form of composition element and well curves are so easy to repeat specially when your dealing with an organic subject matter like a human. Nature loves curves.

How many curves do you count? Curves can be as subtle as the shadow across the leg. Even that shadow curve on the leg is important to the composition as it shows depth and draws you into the photo.
