OMG!! How wonderful is my boyfriend. There I was wishing I had a laptop and my boyfriend buys me one!! So here I am computing in my lap instead of the chunky old slow thing in the office. I love the freedom of surfing and sitting on the couch! I have been computer deprived (that is, a slow old piece of shit) for so long. This feels like total luxury.
I first used the internet in 1996. I used a mac and had a 14k modem. I remember waiting 10 mins for the Pink Floyd page to load.
I am really regretting not applying for SG when I first found the site. I can't imagine what it would be like to be 18 and have pictures on me on here.
I can't imagine how wonderful it would have been having the internet the way it is today with this fantasitic notebook at 18.
