We had another first birthday luau this weekend, yesterday. This was my cousin Candace's little girl, Emmy. Once again, I was on pit duty, helping dig the imu busted ankle and all.
Sometimes I think my Dad wants me to take over this from him eventually which makes sense, since he's had me help him dig every pit the past 5 years. Honestly, I'm getting pretty good at it.
Which is nice -- kind of like a fallback skill if teaching or music doesn't amount to anything.
