Happiest of birthdays to the lovely paz.
Thanksgiving gathering was huge, as always. What happens when you get a family that's part Hawaiian, part Filipino, part Chinese, part haole, part Portuguese and part just about everything else you can imagine together in one place?
First off, a family that would give fits to the real racists of the world -- how do you like 5 continents all related to each other?
Second -- wow, what a lot of food. We dug a pit and had kalua pork in addition to the turkey, the stuffing, the sweet potatos, the pancit, the adobo, the lo mein, the pot stickers, the....
You get the point.
I look over things as they are, and feel pretty good. I'm not sure why I whine here sometimes about a "need" to have change in my life. Nothing is broke. Why fix?

do you know that demeter fragrances make a scent that's supposed to smell like the hawaiian surf? you should check it out and tell me if it really does.
