There's a south swell but nothing major -- 4-6 feet, but definitely worth going for a ride after work.
Well, obviously, every kid on the island thinks so too, so the beach was jammed. You can take it from either the right or left and that was the problem. I kicked into my wave and broke left and a kid who wasn't watching if anyone else was setting up broke right.
I avoided slamming him by ditching but not in time to keep from getting put under and dragged into the break. Queen's breaks on a reef.
Owie Owie Owie. Coral bumps HURT.
Got it taken care of by a doctor, but today I am going to SANDY'S out by Makapu'u.
Fewer kids.
