New Year's Eve was lots of fun! I got to celebrate it with a bunch of really great people and a two week old baby.
I bought a 26' Toshiba windscreen TV on boxing day for $299. How can you beat that deal? I'm not really crazy about materialistic things, but I do like to watch movies and play some video games.
My girlfriend and I went home to our families by ourselves. It's just too hard with both our parents being separated to see everyone we want to. Plus, not all of my family is on to the "gay" thing yet. I haven't gone out of my way to hide it, but I'm not going to make a big deal of it either. One of my christmas cards was addressed to both of us so that made me happy.
My fish survived the four days alone. Here's some more pictures of Frank Lloyd the puffer. I'm going to get him another puffer friend this week because he seems under-stimulated. Anyway, here's some more pictures of the fish, himself.

Mysterious Skin was interesting. It was directed by Greg Araki - the same guy who directed the Doom Generation. But this movie was based on a book. It had strong pedophilia content... which was slightly disturbing, but overall, the movie was well done.
