So I'm out of this depressive slump. I was shooting this week for a promotional DVD for a recording arts school. This is my first solo paid gig, so I was pretty nervous. I hired a cameraman from from the station that I work at and he was fabulous. Even though I couldn't pay him as much as he gets at the station, he was on time, energetic, resourceful and didn't laugh at me when I told him I forgot the tapes. hopefully he wont get too busy and I'll be able to hire him for other jobs.

Anyone out there who is looking for freelance jobs to supplement their income, let me know. If you are in my area and you are talented in an area of production, such as: video (shooting, editing, producing), web production, graphics, programming, photography etc... send me your email or contact info and I will keep my ear open.
