well today was my 5 year high school reunion, at which i drank too much and made a big fool of myself, for a refreshing change. why did we even have a 5 year reunion? everyone ended up at the same goddamn ivy league college anyway (except for me) so it's like "hey how'd this past month treat ya?"
then i went and played pool in the valley with this guy who used to call me a dyke.
but not before making a fool of myself (again) with really tall tan guy who coaches a baseball team for inner city kids and just spent a week in mexico doing community service.
i was like "woah john, you got so tall and tan. somebody open a window." yeah i'm a big dumb schmuck! i didn't blow it by being over eager and shallow, did i? and we'll see each other again, right? and he probably finds lushes who make fools of themselves and flirt shamelessly, endearing, right?
i need a pep talk.
