I saw Cake last night. What a great band. A ton of people were there, which surprised me. Who knew Cake still had that kind of pull. I think it may have been cause it was a $5 show, though. Hehe. I just wish they had played either 'Satan Is My Motor' or 'Pentagram'. (Like Bart Simpson says, "all the best music is affiliated with Satan.") That, or any of the 3 last songs on the newest CD. Those songs fucking rule!
There was one girl there that totally had me captivated. This kind of short, skinny girl with curly black hair and glasses who was wearing a baggy pink t-shirt and this long pink skirt. I couldn't take my eyes off her. Of course, I didn't talk to her. No point. But she really blew my mind with how subtly gorgeous she was. I love modesty and cuteness more than sex appeal and "hotness".
Right now, I'm just rocking out to some Darkthrone (A Blaze in the Northern Sky. Very fucking good.) and catching up on some work.

I think, and this is just an observation I've made, that you listen to a very fucked up range of music......and as a musician, that's a good thing. FAR TOO MANY musicians limit their listening to a very narrow grouping, and it just kinda pisses me off.
