I have been a very busy boy. With the possibility that I may have my music and recording equipment sooner than planed (as early as the end of January!) I've been very inspired to write lyrics. Better yet, I've actually been inspired to write a 9 song 'concept album', all of which I have written the lyrics for over the last couple of days!
Before you roll your eyes at the idea, the 'concept' tells a story from my own life (from about October of 2003 to around September of 2004), so its not some crazy fantasy bullshit. There was just a lot that happened in that time, and I felt that it gave me some thing to write about (they say you should write what you know about, ya know?).
So yeah, I can't wait to get down to writting the music. Of course, I have lots of ideas and some stuff already written, but nothing solid yet. I don't want to get ahead of myself untill I can get it all down. My friend Mike will probably have a lot of input on the project as he's a good friend and a much better guitar player than I. I intend for it all to be very black metal, but with a sense of emotion, so there have been a lot of jokes about emo black metal. Haha. Before you think I'm about to write the worst album since 'Significant Other', just think of Nine Inch Nails and 'the Downward Spiral'. It may be 'industrial' but it also has emotion. So yeah...perhaps As I Lay Dying would be a good example of metal with feeling. I dunno. Haha. I just can't wait to get this thing started. It's always very exciting to motivate yourself and accomplish some thing.

To close, I'll give you the sum of the story. It tells about how, at a time of need in my life, all my friends turned their backs on me. Then, I moved away, partly to just escape. While I was away (2 full hours away from all the drama) I found myself, then lost myself, and then found myself again. I then moved back home, only to be let down again because I was in the best condition I had ever been in, and no one gave a shit that I was back (even the people I had kept in touch with).
So there you go. I don't have an 'album' title yet, but I want to make it under the name 'Morningstar' (so if you know of a successful act with this name, let me know, cause I couldn't find one). Feel free to tear apart my dream, now.
