I had the worst headache on the flight to Sydney and it was made worse by the amount of babies and kids on the flight. At least the mother in my aisle had a brain. She gave the baby a bottle on take off and then it went right off to sleep. So to drown out the rest of the kids I swiped my credit card so I could watch the foxtel on board. So I paid $5 to watch an hour of Miami Ink.
I stayed at Novotel Rockford Darling Harbour on the Saturday night.
There was no view but a bath, so after dinner I had a bubble bath.
I was up at 6 on the sunday morning. Which I have not done on a sunday for so long. So I set off to Central Station. I was going off memory to get there and got lost but eventually found my way. Got to Chester Hill (which is where the jewellery course was at).
The course went so fast but I was tired by the end of it. So the wine and cheese that I was offered after the course was just what I needed. Carol and Ron (Hot Dot Designs) were fantastic. They welcomed me into their home with open arms.
This is what I made.
The Meriton Parramatta is where I stayed on the sunday night. Awesome place.
I went to the DFO at Homebush on Monday. I wasn't too impressed. Bought two pairs of shoes and two shirts. That is all
My flight back was delayed by an hour and changed to a different terminal. Not impressed.
I am glad I took today off from work as well.
Thank you to Rook for driving me to the airport and picking me up.
I have now gone on a trip by myself.
High five for me.
Meriton in Surry Hills is good too, same standard.
