I just wanted to say that I'm sorry if I came across as harsh in the christian thread in my response to your question.

I guess I am conservative. I mean, I believe that the bible is the literal inerrant word of God, and that it's divinely inspired by God 100%. Usually, if people disagree with that, I have to defend my position, and that gets old, especially when the dissenter's don't want to support their position. There's been threads where I've defended the bible and my position, offered rational and empirical evidence for my position, and received nothing but scorn for that effort.

Anyways, I sincerely apologize if I came across as rude or such. Wasn't my intention.
