I spent something like my entire grade 8 and 9 life playing a computer game called Wing Commander: Privateer. It was immersive. It had a well developed universe within the Wing Commander storyline, (for the day,) beautiful graphics, and felt like a real place. It was about the most fun a 13 year old boy could have with his pants on.
Now, this. A remake. A remake that will work on my Mac. A remake with 3d graphics, and more immersive gameplay. A remake of a game that was so much fun as an adolescent that I got emotional when I discovered this. A remake that has about 10 minuets left to download.
This could very well be the end of my academic career. I will now drop off the face of the earth for a couple of weeks at least.
