nah, you just learn it after awhile. Also, if you look over to the right of your comment box, you'll see a column that says INSERT
If you click on those, it will help you insert bracketed formatting. In the case of images, copy your image location, click on Image under the INSERT column and then you can copy your image URL into the prompt box.
