E-gads! (Like gads, but...uh...online. Or something.) That was a barrel of fun. Met quite a few people that I'd never met before--namely, everyone that showed up, seeing as I was there the whole time. And worth every second of it. (Haven't finished trying to add people yet--I got distracted. What can I say?)

I had no idea what to expect. It was my first SG function, and the only person I'd even talked to online but outside the boards didn't even show. I have to say that I'm very happy with the way it turned out. These people (i.e., you people!) fucking rock. Just thought I'd point that out.

There really needs to be an official compilation of quotes from the night/morning. "Hey, I'm up early!" needs a spot, along with pretty much everything else Matt said there for a while.

I think my favorite part of the evening, though, ended up being the fact that I went to a party put on by people from "a porn site" (as anyone who wasn't a part of it would say), had a great time, with great people, and ended up talking about quantum gravity and space particles, and how it's related to finite energy barriers in electron excitation. That, and Maynard Keenan.

Anyway... off to go watch something. Will probably "waste" the rest of the night on this place as soon as it's over.
