Do you ever get the feeling that you are being overwhelmed with charity solicitation? For the 4th time this week I have gotten a call asking me to send letters, or donate to, or participate in some charity activity. I am tired of aids, breast cancer, ald, the humane society, my Alma , and everything else people are hitting me up for. Guess I am in a bit of a selfish phase right now, or maybe others feel the same way.
Hell I give my time to Special Olympics, I give my money to the Cancer Society, I buy cookies from every little boy, girl, and teen that comes to my door. I have worked on the board of non-profits and have worked for political campaigns. Now it's me time, time to spend my energy on my family and my own well being. Please keep soliciting, but know that I'm not giving this year.
