The Goddess and I went to this show last night. The plusses were that we got to meet some real nice people. The down side was that the show was incredibly unprofessional. The entertainers had the look of complete boredom just about the entire time we endured the torture. One of the entertainers had to be dancing to the music in her head, because she was not dancing to the music on the PA.
Overall the performances were weak and amateurish. Not what one would expect of a national traveling show.
I can understand adding an edge to Burlesque, but this was just a cheep strip show.
Find the roots, learn the history, and then edge it up.
Opinions are like ass holes I know, but I guess since it is my journal this ass hole can express his.

oh, and i agree with you about the show. you have mad guts for sayin' it but i totally agree. seems like the rest of the crew loved it. i thought i had detoured into deja vu or something.
would it be wrong to have a SG parents picnic type thing, for those of us with kids?? i think it would be a cool thing. no chuckie cheese tho, YIKES!
