I am sooo fired up right now. I just got in from a walk around with my son. Chatting with this woman, we get into what I am doing home in the middle of the day. I tell her that I stay at home. She states the as a Feminist she thinks thats great... I say "Wow I thought you were a Republican (who thinks children should be raised by their parents)
What the fuck! 1) What does being a feminist have to do with anything? 2) Why does she have to tell me this? Who the fuck cares!!! She seems to define her existence and frame of reference as a Feminist. Don't know, I don't go around saying "as a realist..."

I ask her if she had any kids, she did not. I asked her if she would stay home if she did, she would not. I asked why, she stated that she should not have to, her career was too important, let my partner stay home... Have a great day, ta ta (I had to get out of there).

This is not the first time someone said this to me.

What the fuck is wrong with a woman staying home with a child? Why won't the modern Feminist even consider it? No offense to anyone, but my opinion is that Daycare has been fucking up generation after generation for a while now. Parents do not know their children. How can they? The kid wakes up at 6:45am gets in the car and is dropped off at the Center by 7:30. The kid gets picked between 6:00 and 7:00. (Times based on a 45min commute) Home for dinner and bed. Well the parents get to play with the kids on the weekends!!! Guess they will mold the child's sense of morals and values during the weekend.

My wife and I decided that who ever was making less money should stay home with the kid. Sacrifices have been made. My career is on hold for now. My responsibility is just as great.

Rambling on I guess. Don't know exactly where I was going, but needed to vent.
