Missed the SG Twin Cities jam last night by a wisker. Oh well. I woke up today sooooo fatigued that I thought something was very wrong with me. I never woke up so beat.

The day progressed and I got my energy back. Feeling ok now.

Can't help to think about where things are in my life right now. Everyting that made me me back east is gone. The two things that maintained my sanity(Coaching and running a skatepark) are gone. Man, I have got to get out of this funk. Perhaps some new ink. Something that brings my focus here and now.

Yep, I am getting a flash butterfly!!! Fuck yea!!!

i haven't read that book. i wanted to yak about the nature vs. nurture thing. we all know examples of this. my good friend is from a white trash background and had nothing but lazy, welfare fraud perpetrating, drug addicted criminals for role models. with few exceptions he was surrounded by fuck ups and offs.

he is one of the most ambitious and driven people i know. clearly an argument for nature over nurture. the one thing that gets him occasionally is the lack of experience with reasonable people. he looks at everyone as an adversary and feels like he has to do everything for himself. he works harder than he has to.

that was to be my opening example. i think the strength of ones character has more to do with the outcome of ones life than either factor alone.

i fully support a character strengthening flash butterfly!
