Guess an introduction is in order, I am DaddyK member of SG since June 02. I just moved out to Minneapolis from NJ where I was a coach and a skatepark owner. Tough move leaving friends and family, but a change was necessary.
I am now looking for work out here and am trying to get around.
I found that Midwesterners will come right up to me and strike up a conversation because the plates on my car are from NJ. One guy gave me his life story in the parking lot of Menards. Kind of odd, something to get use to. Been uptown, Downtown, Warehouse, and everywhere in between. Cant believe that the bars close at 1:00. Cant believe I have to spend so much to register my car. Cant believe that I have to drive from one spot in the city to another. It isnt like Philadelphia or NYC where you can walk from one area of the city to another. It will definitely take some getting use to.
