so my holiday shopping madness consisted of sleeping in, being served hot out of the oven biscuits and gravy with yummy mimosas, a nice hot shower, all followed up by a drive through the city, a stellar latte from zietgiest and roaming around the international district with my woman, laughing hysterically whilst perusing vietnamese 99cent stores and other odd establishments. we ended up at shanghai gardens eating steamed dumplings and shaven barley noodles, chicken with grape sauce, and drinking black tea, plum wine AND sake.
we drove through the downtown shopping district/traffic madness on our way to our lovely afternoon/evening so the complete juxtapostion of it all was really apparent. looking back on the day i can't help but to think, that wow: it rules to be me.
also, we rented a movie tonight called "tard spasm". for all y'all that have not had the pleasure, you really can't afford to miss out on this one. sort of documentary-style, a heavy metal band whose audience consists entirely of mentally and physically "challenged" folks. i think it was filmed in a high-school gym. highly entertaining.
oh and one more thing...
