I woke up this morning thinking I should read, "Fight Club" - seems de rigeur among the cognoscenti. Palahniuk is from the exact same background neck of the woods as me. Strange and I find myself so attracted to this site. I was reading this book about Networks last night "small worlds" - the power of 'weak links' - I wanted my unconscious to wake up with revelations. Instead it woke up giving me two things - Fight Club and Palahniuk. Interesting. I then talked to my dad, who's in his old wise Zen Marlowe Heart of Darkness Phase and he said - You've got a choice. Life, its all about pulling nails out or hammering them in. You got da choice." Very philsophical - I wonder what he meant?
