the walk was very fun. started at 8:30 with a pbr and bloody, then proceeded to have one beer per bar for all 10 of them along the walk. walked over to my friend mikey's place in wrigleyville cause he was online and I couldn't call him. the three of us went out to this really good thai place near their house and the food was incredible and highly needed.
I hung out with them a little longer and ended up meeting this really cute girl on the el platform who had obviously been to the game- cubs shirt, hat, earrings, and wristbands- and asked her how it was.
she was really cold, so I let her use my spare sweatshirt for a little while to warm up. it turns out she works on the same block I do downtown, so she gave me her number and suggested we hang out and goto lunch soon. Pretty exciting.
Also, mickey's girlfriend likes to bowl- a lot, so I asked em if they want to come on out on monday with ya'll in a couple weeks. Mikey is about to be in texas for the next week and when they get they want to go see the spankers show at schubas with me on the 26th. should be a really good show, so far I've got a pretty good group I'm dragging along to that show.
I think I might go for a run this morning!
my roommate is back from houston and we'll be getting groceries tonight- how exciting!!!
ran a couple miles a little while ago, it felt really good. now I'm going to work some more- off to microcenter to find a book on javascript.
