Day 3 and still got the sick blackeyed

Having to get up with the roosters doesn't help much either. Don't get me wrong though, I'm quite the morning sunshine smiley face kinda of guy, but I got one hell of a nasty cold! Eh? Oh well, in my business, ya just deal with it
Besides, I try and look at the bright side of things. I've been working up in the hills of Napa Valley all week on a photo shoot for a coffee ad. Love being out in the country; and makes wonder if I'm really a city boy or not. But I guess I can have the best of both worlds. At least I can get out of the city most of the time with this job.
Plus I love the drive up every morning over the Golden Gate bridge and seeing the sun rise over the city, and with some good tunes on the stereo or NPR, helps too.
I've been really intgo old southern R&B lately; old STAX lps. That music really tells a story. Takes my mind off the sick and puts my soul in the right place.

Ahhh yes. I miss my camera phone. I miss Japan...well, mostly I miss my friends in Japan. I don't miss those winters, since I lived a old house with no central heating! It's funny, becuase I keep having flashbacks to my summers spent in Japan, and I have to remind myself it is still winter there. Where did you travel in Japan?

The ol' city vs. country debate. I struggle with it all the time, but I figure I need to find some nice place outside a big city, that way I can get the best of both worlds. I really do love the country, but I love the art/culture/music/night life that the city provides.

I think it sounds lovely, exept being sick of course. That always sucks, feel better soon photoman. I'd like to see more of your photos, email me or something. I also love seeing pics of others houses and apartments and rooms and blablabla, it's just interesting. You have to tell me how you live... did you grow up outside the city?
