OOOOF! I Can't feel my legs...
Whoa! Long weekend of fun and r&r. Took off Sat morn at 4am and headed to Tahoe for a little snowboard gettaway with friends. Slept off the hangover all the way there and was ready to hit the icy slopes by the time I stepped out of the truck. Or maybe it was that major faceplant right off the lift.
Nuttin' like a little hurt pride to sobber ya up. Good times ! Came back monday nite. Rockn' and air guitarin' to a couple of classic cds' we picked up at out secret used cd store in a little no name town on the way back. 'The Best of Journey and Cheap Trick / Live in Budokan are 2 perfedct gotta get back home fast road trip cds to play loud and proud.Everybody was rockn' out in the truck!
Anyhow, Its always nice to know I can get out of the city quickly. And into solid nature in the blink of an eye. I think that's why I love Nor Cal sooo much. I've learned to never take for granted those things that life offfers us for free. For instance you may ask. 'Nature'. I honestly cant' be locked down in a house for too long. I have to get out and explore and see. It's hard for me right now to be in front of this computer typing, knowing there is a sunny day outside waiting for me to make the best of it. I'm a firm believer in the early mornings and seeing the sunrise too. Can't help it, no matter how tired I'm am. And Monday's. I love mondays; while everybody hates em', I look forward to them. Like a breath of fresh air, clean shower, cut lawn, haircut, new tattoo...whatever. Be thankful......be good.
