Couldn't ask for a better chill weekend in SF. Friday went to see a great new surf film a friend has been working on for the last four years calledSPROUT. Beautiful footage from all over the world. Plus a little solo opening by Niel Halstead of Mojave 3 set things off perfectly. The next morining being so inspired; we all headed to the beach the next day for little morning surf session. Nothing better than sittn' the water watching the sun come up over the city......well; I could think of a few things better
For example? Like the amazing time I had with my lady getting crazy silly on margs at my favorite mexi place in the mission on saturday.Catching the surf film again...yes it was that good, and wooping it up with the rest of the fans. Plus friends coming in from all over the world to support such a unique creative effort. I feel very lucky to know such talented and free thinking people. La Familia'!!
And yet end another amazing evening with my luv, snogging till the wee hours.
Caught a little bit of the a street fair in the mission today. And low and behold who do I see up on stage...Penelope Houston, from one of my favorite SF punk bands of all timeThe Avengers
.
Good to see folks rockn' out like that still. Hope y'all had a good one.
And if you're feeling a little down, try a little song by Prince, called '7' That should get your groove back on
*I added some new polaroids to the pic file....check em out
