i've been going through all the random boxes that i should have gone through right after moving. everyone has those boxes - all the crap that you end up just throwing into the move saying "ah, whatever, i'll sort it afterwards. i'm too busy right now".
so a good three or four months after the last move i'm just getting around to dealing with them - and maybe it's a good thing that i waited so long, because my sorting so far has been strangely out of character. actually, maybe it's just my character that's changing. i look at things, all sorts of things, and it occurs to me... they're all just things. none of them are me, none of them deserve to be kept. i have no emotional obligation to the material objects i live with, which is quite a change from my usual hoarding instincts. more than once Posh has lamented my random-useless-crap-magnetism.
ah well, guess that's over with. back to culling the herd.

Actually those probably might come in handy. It might not be a bad idea to hold onto things.
