point form again, because there's sleep to be had and i'm just the guy to have it.
- interview went strikingly well. i was told to ask my second round interviewer for more money because they liked me, they really liked me.
- the other (phone) interview led to a face to face this coming tuesday. i might go for fun, or out of fear of blowing my second interview at the company mentioned in the previous item. the cavernously deep pockets that company number one has access to is making company number two pale a little. not in comparison, but with a malaise born of covetousness.
- warcraft treats me well. i don't have Scopitone's gnome slaughteringly good screenshots to post, but i assure you, it's fun - server outages be damned.
- sometime, tomorrow i think, a certain someone and i will be back at DV8 for an SG get together. we'll be heading to the Brickyard afterwards. if you were paying attention on that fateful eve one year, one month, and eight days ago, you'll be pleased to note that the itinerary is more than familiar. i had to promise to kiss her at the exact same spot on the sidewalk in front of the Brickyard. awww. puke if you must, but i won't relent.
- i want a new mobo. i want it bad. i need to get paid so i can upgrade from this clockwork abacus. if you listen closely, you can hear a hamster wheel when warcraft's formidable data-in-memory swaps to disk. after a few hours of play, it emits a squeak, a puff of smoke, and an intolerable smell. i have yet to come up with an acceptably fatal punishment when my old board finally gets swapped out. if anyone knows of a substance that can send silicon straight to hell, let me know.
