home again, home again, giggity giggity.

the toronto trip was pretty epic, which over the past week has become my superlative of choice. i'm not sure how exactly it wormed its way into my - at times downright labrynthine - speech patterns but hey, there it is. dude, epic man.

i think the full tale of the trip to toronto might be a little too much to write into a journal entry. i guess it'll have to remain an experience, with maybe a couple anecdotes to explain it to others. like that guy, and that place... the subway crossdressers. the ghetto of niagara falls. yelena's hiccup interference method. silly stuff.

since i'm here - here being SG - i think proper mention should be made of the SGB show and its thoroughly awesome amount of awesomeness, as expressed by some random long haired banger after the show. then again, if i just randomly walked out of a venue and saw Posh and Stormy making out, i'd probably stop dead in my tracks and yell "THIS IS AAAAAWWWESOME!!" too. but hey, that's just me... and the guy who said it i guess.

actually meeting/viewing interweb people in person is kind of odd, though it's a curious and kind of neat kind of odd. i kept wanting to say "hey rad, you exist". as far-out of a concept as it may be, Shera, Reagan, Nixon, Pearl, Bracket, Sicily, Quinne, and Shayne (and the aforementioned Stormy) are all actual humans which - when observed in close quarters - move and interact in a manner almost exactly like that of a normal human... except that the par for the social course among them would appear to involve a lot more hotness and attitude than, say, a baseball game. to think, all this time i thought it was just my Posh who was exceptionally hot and awesome - though for the record, she's still my own personal Galactus of sex and radness. for the record, i am her Silver Surfer.

speaking of the Best Team Ever(tm), i managed to get the World of Warcraft client downloaded over the course of one night, which was some sort of miracle according to the beta forums. two gigs through bit torrent does not a short download make.

once we got in the game, there was only about twenty minutes of Posh running around, totally unable to grasp the movement controls, before we got down to our usual two-person holocaust routine. we ended up on the PvP server with an undead mage/warlock team. it turns out that stuff dies really, really fast when you have a mage and warlock (and hilarious little impy dude) nuking the sweet fuck out of it.

on that note, back to fantasizing about WoW. it was a pleasure to meet everyone i met in toronto and at the sgb show, hopefully it'll happen again sometime.
