she actually googled "midget elvis wedding" the other night, or something to that effect. she may have thrown in a parenthetical or logical operator, just for old time's sake.
midget AND elvis AND (chapel OR wedding) +"las vegas"
my life, the query string. as it stands, things are more than unusual - magically so, though i'm loathe to use that word. really, it's all on better footing than mere wizardry... no legerdemain here. no sir. still, my mind is reeling, and to make a terribly punny and equally just-plain-terrible metaphor out of it: i'm struggling to pull it all in - and to find its net worth - but i doubt there's a rough patch big enough to change the fact that in this small-fry i've found quite the catch.
*crickets*
*tumbleweed*
soooo, anyways... i've mostly dropped off the map for the past four days, but it's to be expected. miscellany ensues:
saw return of the king, glorious. haven't played ffxi for a while, there have been more important matters to attend to like sleeping in super late then cuddling and watching dvds and family guy episodes all day then talking all night. it's a rough life. gosh. on the dvd note, we watched bill & ted's excellent adventure today... be excellent to each other, and party on dudes. the Posh girl had no small amount of trepidation when i wouldn't put the case for it down in the video store, but she ended up wanting to watch it, which is really only noteworthy because i did the same thing with Sorority Boys, a movie i totally expected to be terrible. i'm not sure how to feel about liking a movie where harlan williams spends almost every scene in a dress.
on a geeky note (aside: yeah, like making stupid aquatic puns isn't geeky enough) the dreamcast is sitting next to me. it calls out to be hax0red. i was depressed when i read that the free psx emulator for the dc is an alpha that will most likely never make it to a production release. still, i WILL emulate something. hell, there's even a linux distro for the dc. further proof that an infinite number of basement babies sitting in front of an infinite number of keyboards will eventually produce a linux distro for every device more high tech than a sharpened rock.
she's looking at the website for Monster House now, obviously pining for her lost cable tv. surely this requires some sort of comforting. weak excuse to abandon writing and go make out? maybe. there have been worse segues... here's tom with the weather.

My recommendation is to record a few episodes, so next time she's feeling a little blue, or heck even restless *snicker*, you can bring on the VILANATOR!
That's a very entertaining journal to read. Thanks.
