how did i manage to make it 24.5 years into my life without realizing how completely awesome the dresden dolls are? sure, i've only had 5 years or so of their existence, so i guess 19.5 years were forgivable, but still.

they're pretty nifty. i saw them open for nine inch nails in 2005 at a small outdoor venue. and i have to say they blew trent reznor's performance out of the fucken' water. they did a cover of sabbath's war pigs that was unbelievable. i met amanda after the show and she signed my cd. she was so humble and sweet after being such a powerhouse on stage. plus, her eyebrows are tattooed on all unusual and stuff. i told her i liked her dress and she kissed my hand. [swoon]
