Mother: Hey we're about 5 minutes away from your place, be there soon.

Me: Why?
Mom: We found this <insert household object here> at a garage sale, and are bringing it to you.
Me: But I already have one
Mom: But this one is almost NEW.
Me: But...
Mom: be there soon, bye.
Lets see, a 5 minute warning before intruding to bring me something I already have. Think she's trying to check up on me a bit too much.
Sometimes I swear the worst part about bineg born is having parents.
Don't get me wrong, I love them when they re not annoying
