Last night I had an amazing one man band perform on my Trash-o-matic Garbage A Go-Go show(-show). His name is Haunted George and he's got this amazing, spooky western sound. I was expecting a depraved killer to meet me at the studio, but was surprised when I found him to be a really nice guy.
In other news, my guitar has been packed up for near two weeks now. I need to bust it out of storage. You see, I've been wanting to play all those excellent cover songs I've been learning and bastardizing. I've got a nice punk version of Mr. Big's "I'm the One Who Wants To Be With You," A foul-mouthed cover of Asia's "Heat of the moment," and a wild-westernized (hey, thats a great new term!) version of Stone Temple Pilot's "Creep." I'm still trying to figure out how to change George Harrison's "I've Got My Mind Set On You" around.
Which reminds me, I've got to start working on those Annette Funicello songs.
