been doing a bunch of reading lately. All old detective pulp stuff. Some Raymond Chandler and Dashiell Hammet. I've started looking for some more crime and juvenile delinquent pulp to purchase online but am having difficulty knowing what is really good. If anyone has suggestions, I'd love to hear 'em.
Haven't been doing much else but working two jobs and watching movies with my roomate: The new Seagal movie "Into the Sun" (or something like that), Raging Bull, A Fist Full of Dollars, North By Northwest, Bubba Ho-Tep, Hellraiser. Gonna rent more tonight. I want to see something classy of course. so i'm thinking of maybe "Charade" if I can find it, Love and a .45 if i can talk my roomate into it, or the new Van Dam (sp) movie If i hate myself enough to sit through it. hmmmmm.....
I've also been getting a lot of good music sent to me for the radio show. exciting stuff: Soda and his Million Piece Band, Hipbone Slim and the Knee Tremblers, John Schooley and His One Man Band, Zombina and the Skeletones. I have Some other stuff on the way too: El Paso Hot Button, The Dirty Babies(can't wait Brew!
), ummm.... White Ghost Shivers, and hopefully a bunch more. (a hell of a lot of good stuff coming out of Texas)
