hey, thanks to those of you who tuned in to Trash-o-matic last night. Its actually hard work filling up three hours of airtime with wild music, you really have to be on your toes in order to keep the energy/mood. It is much easier, however, if you know people are listening. My new goth time slot neighbors are nice and a lot of fun, but the hip hop guy after me, while a great on air personality, seems a bit irresponsible. he showed up late last night, which isn't too bad but it scared me. I didn't want to spend 3 more hours on the air from 3AM-6AM. i've held that gig once before.
about the Beatman show, it was great, as i was expecting. He is such a nice guy. He introduced me to his girlfriend, i bought him beer, and we conversed on and off throughout the night. i'll post some pics shortly. There was also an amazing two man group "Slim Higgens and Mr. Juvenile Hall" who had such wild energy that i played them on my radio show the following day. check em out on My Space.
2005 has definately been an unusual year for me. I feel like I'm forcing myself to grow socially, breaking out of my comfort zones. Yes, it is uncomfortable....and stressful.....and I'm not sure what the results will be, but.....ehhh...what the hell.
2005 will continue to be an unusual year for me. I am currently researching what i need to do to get into a teaching credential program, the owners (good friends) of the store I have worked at for four years are planning on selling it in Feb. and another man will be taking over. He will need me to stay on as he knows little about running the place, but it will not be the same. I might leave if i can get a job with the school district or something more challenging.
Anyway.......yeah
lots 'o' junk
