Hey, a new journal entry (so stand by while I pad your skull and don't step on no snakes):
Its a natural gas that a cat, such as myself, should not get mixed up with a San Quenten quail (you know, 15'll get ya 20, and everything). Yet I can't help getting my gage up over some of these slinky pieces of homework that haunt the drag by my crash pad. I mean, talk about hum dum dingers from dingersville! these kittens could roll me and clip me and i wouldn't even dish 'em a continental. But yeah, a whisky sour to all the beer in Brooklyn that any of 'em would get locked up in this direction.
. I flat out don't get it. Oh well.....
So i interviewed Kyle of Kapow records on last week's show and it went pretty well. I noticed later that I kept saying "umm" a lot (something i try not to do on air). Overall, i guess I am happy with it.
I am presently dedicating my time to working on a research paper about the use of slang and jazz in film noir. I've got one out of 10 pages done so far. As it is my last big paper till i get my english degree, i am pretty excited to finish it.
Then I'll be going to Massachusetts for a few days around Thanksgiving. I hope i have time to do everything i want to do in those few days. I need to start planning on what to bring clothes-wise. it might be really cold.
Anyway. not much else happening, i think i want to buy a base drum and a high-hat this holiday season and start working on my own one man band. I'm tired of waiting to find others to make music with
