the heat is gone!!!!
i survived!!! well.......aren't you proud of me???
no! its not that i am a wuss when it comes to heat. The problem is that i live in a townhome with no circulation and no air conditioner, and that the AC at work broke during a horrible two week heat wave of which there was no escape. it was even hot here at night!
but that's old news. onto the new stuff:
I am getting my radio show renewed and am pretty sure that i'll be moving from my 3-6AM, monday morning slot and into a more practical 10AM-12PM, Sunday slot. the pluses are as follows: no staying up through the night, a lot more listeners, i can have live bands play, and my friends will be more likely to stop by. the sucky part is that i will not be aable to play music with bad words or inappropriate content. that is a big hassle. i'll have to read through song lyrics before playing everything. but all in all, i will be thrilled with the new time.
I'm also starting my last quarter of college in a week. i am taking a class about political images in comic books (such as "Love and Rockets" and Batman"), a class on film noir, an advanced poetry workshop, and some spanish poetry thing (that is required for my major).....looks like fun!
i've also been familiarizing myself with the bars in the area and have been having fun going out with my friends at least once a week. i always hope to meet some interesting ladies, but can't escape the typical newport/orange county persona.
i refuse to settle! i will bare this sucky lonliness till i meet a girl (or four) who is unique, creative, and unlike those flitty ones i can't seem to escape

also you should cry for me because tonight is the 5,6,7,8's show and it's 21+ so I can't go, also I work, so I doubly can't go.......it is a sad day.
A class on comic books! Where have i been? Cool beans about the slot. I'll be able to listen because I'm at work Sunday morning. And i feel your pain,it's hard for me to find a girl too
