They are doing construction on my town home right now. tearing off the balcony with hammers and breaking all the plaster off the walls. i woke up to a strange man in a hard hat pounding the wall while standing on the balcony in front of my bed. i don't get annoyed at the noise though. my roomate and i just laugh because its a funny type of situation, waking up to the bombardment of hammers and men cussing in different languages; hearing pieces of your home crumble to the ground. i've already gotten used to the ratchets and the loudspeaker over at the car yard next door too. Sometimes the workers will go into singing a really nice spanish tune while working. other times, they will be telling others how their "hermana" is a "gordita". on some occasions, we get to hear spontaneous screams of pain. I put my life size dracula cut-out in the window too to scare them.
so i got to stop by caddi56's store ("Get My Point") earlier this week and was blown away by how much neat stuff he had going on in there. for some reason i was picturing it being a lot smaller than it really was, but not only was it pretty damn big, it was full of neat-o clothes, accessories (sp?), and of course body jewelry. The girls clothes he carries are so cute and punky that i am thinking of stopping by one weekend just to see the cute girls who wear them.
Caddie, write me when you get those size nine duane peters hightops in, the black ones with red stripes!!! also....ummm....if you could send a couple of those cute girlies this way i would be much obliged

in other news, my summer job is ending in a week so i'll have much more time until school starts again in late september. i'm hoping to go to the rockaround in vegas, but i need to see how much money i'll have by then. i might need to spend it all on music if my radio show gets renewed. hopefull it will get an earlier time slot too!!! (fingers crossed).
i'll be DJ-ing at Orange Coast College on tues sept 7 from 12-1PM. so if you go to OCC, look for me at the quad. i'm thinking of playing classic or local punk, but might go with some 60's garage/ 50's JD rock and roll (JD= Juvenile Delinquent)

yeaahhh.....anyway. I'm taking a writing class and I'm totally awkward and retarded in it. seriously. I think I'll probably fail. and then pass my math class and be horribly ironic and feel not like me. because I have total mathphobia.....anyway. what's the good word with cd's?
