Ok. i'm applying for my radio show today. I'll know if i got it by the 24th (the same week i'd have my first show)
while it is not terribly common for the station to give good slots to rookies w/o co-hosts, i feel i have a good chance. Ideally i would be on from 10PM-12AM. The general manager, the training director, and the program director all like my proposed idea. I guess it all depends on the quality of my skim tape which i am gonna work on tonight at the station. Won't it be cool to listen to me on the air!!! (SAY YES!!!!!
!!!!) and don't pull the old "i don't live within 2 miles of the station so i can't listen" because you can listen anywhere in the world online
P.S.- I've named the show "Trash-o-Matic Garbage-A-Go-Go, my DJ name will be Filthy Rotten Wes, and my listeners will be YOU. (that is if i get a slot, of course)
