tattoos, tattoos. they're everywhere on this site. i love girls with tattoos!

i have always assumed that a girl would never date a guy who had less ink than her. is that valid? I'm sure its not, but hey,i nonetheless have been scrounging for over a year for more tattoo ideas. even when i got my only one across my shoulders i felt it was...

I totally just saw blackxlacexvixen's journal!! I can't believe you said all that stuff about me!! I feel so honored!!

You totally just made my day. That and Amina posting in my journal...

By the way, I was watching "So I Married An Axe Murderer" the other day and their drunken Scottish antics totally reminded me of you...Irish, Scottish....all the same after some liquor.

Gotta go and talk to the girls' journals now...I'm going to ask if I can be the meat in an Annabelle and Anika sandwich.

And my hero is...well shit I don't know...let me get back to you on that one...it'll give an excuse to come back to your journal. wink wink wink wink

oh man! I don't have enough time to update my journal because i have to write a horrible paper about Medieval Literature. Here, have a slice:

For these reasons the tale Sir Orfeo can be seen as displaying the necessity of a king to act upon his own singular will and, likewise, shows the positive application and outcome of doing so. It is often possible...

Thanks for the luck.

I'm all finished and it feels oh so good! Hope your paper went well.

Not sure what my summer plans are. Work and hopefully I'll have enough time to make art for myself instead of my teachers. What are you up to?

The accents drove me nuts! It was just so bad.

Your radio show sounds awesome. I wish there was something like that around here. Perhaps there is and I'm just not *scene* enough to know about it.

and thanks for complimenting my work! I keep cleaning my room and then messing it up again. Creation is a messy process. I need a studio!

hey. the rockaround sounds pretty cool this year, although not as cool as the shakedown in 2000. that was the shit! Real Kids, Dictators, Murder City Devils, Donnas etc etc etc....hey! you have to come see my band play when we come thru the west coast in a couple of weeks!
oh yeah, there is a guy here in town John Schooley of the Hard Feelings, he does a pretty impressive one man band stuff. i'm pretty sure he has an album out.

I had a horrible poetry workshop experience this week. No one seemed to understand what my poem was about. While i intended it to be a bit of a riddle, i did not intend for it to be impossible to understand. However, i do not feel this the case. Now it is up to you to see if you can understand what my poem is...

As far as the 20's-30's blues go here's some of my favorites that I've came across: Bo Carter, Furry Lewis, Funny Papa Smith, Tampa Red. Somebody must be selling off a massive collection a bit at a time to my favorite local record store. I've just been buying as much as I can for a couple years now. I'm dreading the day that it stops coming in. Most of the records are from three european labels that were issuing them on vinyl in the late seventies/early eighties. Earl Archives, Wolf Records and Document. I'd doubt that they're still issuing this stuff, but I've not looked into it. The one label that I know of that is still in business is Yazoo, they've got a website that should give you some good ideas. They do more than blues but I think they stick with all pre-50's stuff. Not sure if they still put out vinyl though. Oh, I just remembered this: CANNON'S JUG STOMPERS they are (were)absolutely incredible. See if you can find anything by them, I promise you'll not be disapointed. The leader (Gus Cannon) went by the name of "Banjo Joe" & you might look under that name as well. I got a double album complete recordings on a label called "Herwin". The printing of their name on the cover makes it look like "Heroin" to me for some damn reason. Big Bill Broonzey is also really good & probably much easier to come by. Good Luck!

Sooo! i've been having trouble with AOL. Someone has been stealing my password and loging onto my account so they can send out a million emails and IMs to people who are getting pissed at me personally! this happened twice this damn week!! even after i changed my password. I've scanned for viruses, even after updating my virus definitions so i don't think its that....

Dude, I started a new group called Aging Punks Unanimous (I don't know the trick for posting links to groups... frown ). I know you're only 22, but if any younger member belongs there, in my opinion it's you. I think you might find this group refreshing.

Anyway, just an FYI.

hey!!! its my birthday on Tuesday the 13th. I'll be 22 years old. my girlfriends suggested that they would get me an irish stripper for the special day, but i know they're all just talk. soooo, please send me gifts, cake, warm fuzzies, or even just a little hello. the best gift i can ask for are some new SG aquaintances!!!

Thanks for the kind words in my journal. I can remember being a punky kid in O.C. and driving up the 5 to L.A. about four nights a week to see bands play. In spite of what old farts will have you believe, there is plenty of great music today. Just because something is old doesn't make it better. I just hope you have as much fun finding all the good shit as I have had. Happy birthday, brother.
