Those are nice boots but Id imagine they cost a shizload of cash.
That unique stuff is generally expensive. Example: When I was in the furniture store back in december buying a carpet (yeah a nice heavy woll one) i saw this couch made out of patches and it was about $1700
and that was on clearance!

One of my dad's old friends Tom Pockington died a few hours ago. He was struck by lighting. I didn't know him that well, but I'm still in a bit of shock. I've heard of it happening to "other" people, but never to someone I knew, even casually.

Did anyone see the opening ceremonies for the Olympics last night? I thought it was amazing. The centaur costume blew my mind. I really enjoyed the "Greece through the Times" segment the most. The costumes and make-up were beyond outstanding. I didn't even know you make people look like that. Greece is very proud to have the Olympics "home".
