Ok nothing major to talk about. Just saying HI!!!!!! lol work is going good. Had end of week one test today and i passed biggrin It was pretty easy. Plus i will have all the paperwork with me when i do actually start working so i can always call back to it if needed.
I am going to see Sevendust with Amber and Daniel on tuesday and then on thursday i go to Eddie Izzard with Rocco biggrin its a good week

One thing though that I WANT TO MAKE SURE EVERYONE SEES..... LOOK HERE VVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVV
lol
So EVERYONE knows i am a rocker. From classic rock to metal i am a rock guy.... i found a rapper i like!!!!!!!!! OMG!!!!!
I heard a song on i believe a Zune commercial and i HAD to look it up
Lupe Fiasco is AWESOME. No talking about Bling or hoes or shootin shit up or his "Niggas" and he is very smooth and cool, actually SINGS when he raps not just talking to a beat like most rappers i hear do and a great writter. He uses good metaphors instead of just street slang to describe things. Like in Daydream (the song that hooked me) where he describes the ghettos but uses the metaphor of it being a robot.
ok well here is the song that hooked me. ENJOY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There's a lot of really good hip-hop out there that doesn't talk about bitches and poppin' caps and the such, just most of it's all underground. I'd never heard Lupe Fiasco before, but he's pretty good. Here's a couple of my favorites...
P.O.S. featuring Slug (of Atmosphere) Hope you enjoy it.

Mainstream rap and hip hop do not define the hip hop culture and sound.
There are tons of fabulous underground artists that still represent what hip hop and rap were ORIGINALLY about...which was culture and life..Not the mainstream crap that you mentioned wink
