YAY Its time for a new BLOG from Cyberiouse YAY... everyone do a little dance..... I SAID EVERYONE DO A LITTLE DANCE!!!!!!...... Thats better.
Ok yeah in an odd mood. Combination of slight depression mulling around in my head missing certain people i havent gotten to talk to or hang out with (respectivelly) in a while and also a bit of enjoyment from listening to music on my brand new..... but that will wait till later in the entry biggrin and a bit is from reluctance to write a new blog. I have been putting it off. Not because anything bad happened... just cause i didnt feel like it. So i will do it in sections so if you dont wanna read it all you dont have to.

Christmas eve day:

So as usual my mom and I did our traditional christmas eve. We went to dinner and a movie.
We went to go see an afternoo showing of the new National Treasure movie. We both loved it VERY MUCH. It not only is just a good movie in general but to me its almost like a new modern version of Indiana Jones and i love Indiana Jones. After the movie we went out to eat to The Weber Grill steak place in chicago. I originaly when ever going buy had always thought it was just some stupid theme restaurant but NO it is not not by far. I had an AMAZING steak dinner there and i was soooooo happy with it. The cut was great the taste was amazing and it was cooked just right. We each got dessert after and shared with eachother. I got the chocolate cake and she had the apple cobbler pie. They both tasted amazing. My steak was so big that i had some left over to bring home and i had it a few days later and it was AMAZING again lol After that we hopped onto a bus and headed home for gifts........

Well originally i was a bit upset and saddened at the coming of christmas eve. I had ordered my moms gift late( i had to wait for money to come in) and when i had ordered it it said it would take a minimum of 2 weeks to get there... i had ordered it like a week prior to christmas. So i felt really bad about christmas eve and not having my gift for my mom. It had actualy started to make me depressed on the bus ride home. BUT i get home and we go pick up packages from the mail room and what do i see.... my moms gift in the mail room biggrin I was so happy and so excited.
We both got settled in took off coats and what not and started to do gifts. My mom had gotten me ALOT more than not only i had gotten her but WAY more than i had expected to get but I will talk about that last cause what i got for my mom... and how she reacted... made it all worth it.

My mom LOVES Giraffes. She has giraffe sketches painting and statues. Well at the local zoo here (lincoln park zoo) for $40 you can adopt some of the animals. Well one of them you can adopt is a .... GIRAFFE. So i did. In the box ( i just left it in the box it came in since i had JUST gotten it lol) there was an adoption certificate some paperwork on the giraffe you adopted anda picture and the finisher was it came with an adorable stuffed giraffe. It was sooo cute... well my mom opened it and started crying. I couldnt believe how much she loved it. I have seen her snuggling with the giraffe several times since then. That is what makes all of the holidays worth it seeing the look on peoples faces or hearing it in their voices.
Now onto what I GOT biggrin lol. Like i said my mom got me alot more than i had expected so I wont list everything and i will just list all the other awesome gifts i got
The gift that i am MOST excited and happiest with is... my brand new beautiful womderfull MP3 Player
My mom got me a ZEN VISION-M 30g MP3 player. I LOVE it so much. i had a 8g MP3 player before but sadly had lost it frown and i had been lacking music in my life for a while. The thing i love the most about the new one is that unlike my 8g i can actually FIT ALL of my cds.. yes i have cds lol i still am actually in the process of putting them on to it. I have lke... 40 left and have already used up like 17g of the storage on it lol. I also love that i can watch videos on it like my invader zim episodes lol.
Next in favorites is a ....TIE first is one from my mom which is the HEROES season 1 DVD box set anyone who knows me well enough knows that i LOVE the show HEROES. I have wanted this set since it first came out and i was so excited when i got it. Hell i was chatting with ash about it the other night and she asked if she could come over and watch it lol
The second gift for the tie wasn't from my mom it was from my friend pisces101. She had sent me a box with a few gifts in it but one stood out above the rest and i LOVE LOVE LOVE IT. She got me an Invader ZIM hoodie biggrinbiggrinbiggrinbiggrinbiggrin Here this is me looking like an idiot showing it off lol
If you know ANYTHING about me i shouldn't need to say anything about how awesome this is lol

Christmas Day

Christmas day we woke up early adn headed out for my grandmas house. We have learned to go on christmas day as apposed to eve so that we can avoid having to deal with all the drama from the rest of the family. We had rented a car to make the trip easier. Normally it takes about 2 1/2 hours to get out there counting the bus down town and then the train out there.This way it was about an hour trip there and then we could be alot more relaxed and we stopped for coffee and listened to christmas songs on the radio and had a fun time. At grandmas we hung out before dinner for a little while chit chatting with grandma and then we sat down for food. Dinner was a combination of food we had made and brought with and food my grandma had made. It was a very nice sweet dinner. We exchanged giftys later. Nothing major nothing to special but it was very nice. I dont get to see my grandma often and it was very nice.


Thats really it I havent done to much since then. I hung out with a friend the other night and have been enjoying my gifts that i got. I sadly have no plans for NEW YEARS so i will probably just be sitting at home sad and honestly a bit depressed. I tried my best to make plans but as far as i know everyone is either busy out of town or already has previous plans. I might just drop over to one of the bars i know and hang out there. Maybe one of the bar tenders i know will be working and i wont feel so alienated being there alone. frown
Well i hope everyone had a great christmas and i hope most of you have better plans for new years than i do. Here is a little video i am sure most of you have seen since it has SGs in it but i heard it earlier on my MP3 player and hadn't heard it in a while so i was inspired to post it smile

The Song Remains the Same is the best part! I shoulda asked for that. But I think my parents got my gift early on.
