Hey everyone.
So the week was SEMI eventfull. .. mostly last friday.
Friday morning i took the federal entrance exam for the post office and while i don't know my score yet. I know that i aced it. I find out in 2-3 weeks my exact score and whether or not i have a job. I am VERY optimistic about the job. One thing i thought was kinda interesting was that in the BIG test room(pretty much a huge banquet type hall) with the hundred or so people there taking the test. I looked around and i was one of SIX white people there lol. Now i am in NO way racist but i did find it kinda funny.
Friday night i went with my mom to her works christmas party. I had a really good time there. At first i was very nervous cause while i know a few of them and have met a hand full once or twice i REALLY didn't know anyone there. I kinda just walked around like a lost puppy dog for a while but everyone there was very nice and started introducing themselves a little and including me into conversations. I eventually started having a GREAT time. I wish a few get togethers i had gone to a few weeks ago had been that nice honestly. I fully believe that if there is someone new in a group that you notice .. that you should try to introduce yourself to them and try to make them feel fully welcome in the group....but thats just me bitching and getting old annoyance out of my system so ignore it.
In other good news. I now have my own LAPTOP computer. Up till now i have been using my moms computer to go online and browse. Well i have been working a little bit with RONIN and the other day he gave me an old laptop computer and a hook up for wireless internet connection. The computer is slow with not much storage and the internet connection is pretty lacking BUT it was given to me and is free and once i start work i can slowelly buy little things to upgrade it like a better hard drive or a better battery for longer use. So right now this is my FIRST blog written with my laptop
and in FINAL good news I NOW RUN MY OWN GROUP
As several of you may or may not know i have lived my entire life with out knowing much about my father. It has always just been me and my mom. Well i recently found that there was a group for people (primarally women) who dont have or have lost their mothers. Well i decided i was going to start a group for the fatherless out there. With all the cut and runners and all the divorces and a million other things that lead to it. There are more and more children out there who are raised primarally by a mother or even other members of their family. So for all of you who grew up with out a father. Who lost a father. Whos parents have gotten divorced and you don't get to see your father much or at all. Who are women raising a child without the father being in the childs life or you just arent with them anymore. or for all of you fathers out there who know you have a child out there but have little to no contact with them for what ever reason.... This is the group for you to come talk and feel accepted. Talk about what its like to live with out a father figure or what its like to be a "mamma's boy" cause you were raised completelly by her. Or just anything that comes up. so join>>>>>FATHERLESS
I hope to see alot of people joining and participating. You dont have to just talk about living with out a father. You can talk about anything you want. I know i can't wait to be what i never had and to be a husband and a father one day. I hope i can be a good husband and keep my wife happy.
