Me and begotten went to go see the Birthday Massacres last night and they were fucking awesome. I went in having just been introduced to the band so i wasn't sure what to expect. But i was very VERY happy with what i got.
The show started out we saw Apexxx there who i had never met before but it's always nice to meet new SG members. we hung out and chit chatted for a while till the opening band started.
The opening band was a local band called I:SCINTILLA. I haad never heard of them but was HIGHLY impressed by them. The lead singer (brittany) could sing beautifully and the band had great stage presence. I was so impressed that after they finished up i went and bought an album of thiers from the merch table. The cool thing was that the lead singer was fresh off the stage and working the merch table. so we talked a minute she complimented me on my shirt ( i was wearing a Massacres shirt) and i invited her and the rest of the band to a show they are having on the 20th.. which everyone who is reading this should attend lol.
Soon after that the headliners went up. The Birthday Massacres. As i said before i was very happy with the show. Much like the first band they had amazing stage presence Everyone in the crowd jumped and moved and bounced to the music. A few people even stage dived and crowd surfed which was so awesome. Its been so long since I've Crowd surfed... in fact I'm gonna be going to the STATIC-X concert coming up this weekend and i think I am going to do it then
lol. They did an awesome show and even had a short encore.
The whole night all together was very fun and i would love to see both bands in concert again one day.
