I Need a Roommate
My roommate is peacing out March 1st and I really don't want to move again.
A few things about me:
Creative-type person with drive when the right people are around. I have a 9-5 in Beverly Hills. I have a car, but take the bus. I have a cat. I have no living room furniture. I've got a handful of good friends and not much of a crazy social life. Part of my reason for staying put is that the basic idea of meeting someone new and their friends is exciting. You know? Like a reshuffling.
A few things about you:
You're open-minded, but not the type that forces their "open-mindedness" on others. You don't have any pets but can live with the most badass cat in the world. You don't mind words like "badass". You don't ask everyone that you meet "what do you do" within the first 10 minutes of meeting them. You like things to be clean, but aren't completely militant about it, either. I'd appreciate it if you weren't the type of person to regularly eat fast-food in your car.
Pros:
Shared parking spot
Close enough to bike to the beach
New floors and kitchen tiles
I'm pretty cool
My cat
Close to 405 and 10 freeways
No need to look for anything else
Close to a park
Hardwood(ish) floors
Plenty of time to tell your current landlord to suck it
You can bring your current living room furniture to help you nest better
Cons:
Shared parking spot
$800 a month for rent
Lots of loud kids outside sometimes
Property managers live upstairs
Shared restroom
No dishwasher
We pay gas and electricity
