The Simpsons MOVIE was pretty damn decent. Aside from a couple of Family Guy-type moments, it was pretty good. Don't get me wrong. I love Family Guy. I'm just not a fan of when The Simpsons try to be Family Guy. Oh, and I expected the intro to just start off like a good old episode. Didn't happen. It started differently and carried on with Green Day rocking it out. Not what I wanted in the Simpsons movie experience.
I watched all the way to the end of the credits and after the Gracie Films thing, it didn't do the Fox logo and orchestration which was kind of jarring. Kind of in that I was expecting something else to happen sort of way.
Anyway, I do recommend the movie, check it out. It has a little heart, but not as much as the first few seasons did.
