Sarah Silverman: Rejected Set

Here are the 20 Questions that were rejected by Comedy Central for Sarah Silverman. I thought someone might enjoy reading what I would ask the Jewish Princess of Comedy if given the chance (which I almost had).

Sarah is Magic
20Qs

What is the earlies joke you remember making you laugh?

Why do you think adults still laugh like little kids when subject matter is "taboo"?

Comedians have a way of taking something, holding it up under a different light and making people think differently about it. In your opinion what makes comedians think they way they do?

Who are some of your favorite comics past and present?

Who do you despise?

I know when I've watched you perform, I've found myself laughing and then stopping and going "that's not funny, that's fucked up. Why am I laughing? What's wrong with me?" How do you feel about getting that type of reaction out of an audience?

"Jesus is Magic" was beautifully produced and well thought out. How much of this was your influence and how much of it was Liam's?

Your segment in The Aristocrats has been praised as one of the best. One question though; when Joe Franklin raped you, who was on top?

It seems like people who are familiar with your work have a strong opinion about you, either positive or negative. Do you feel like having your own show is going to open you up to a new audience?

Do you think it might alienate you from your current fan-base?

You're an amazing comedian and Comedy Central is a great channel, especially late night when the art is uncensored. How do you feel about joining the channel's line-up and what kind of freedom have you been given with your new show?

How much do you have to "water it down" or is this a completely different creative process for you?

Why Comedy Central and not BET or Trinity Broadcasting Network? Both of those channels are in desperate need of a good comedy program.

Using two examples of television shows you've been on; Mr. Show was great but it got canceled and SNL hasn't been funny for a number of years but it's still on the air. Why do you think good shows get tossed out and America is expected to watch shit?

If your new show sucks, will you still expect people to watch it?

People tend to think of celebrities as royalty and expect quite a lot out of them. What can people expect from you now and your new show?

You're not going to pull a Dave Chappelle on us are you? I mean, maybe not run off to Africa, but you know what I'm saying.

What do you do to stay "grounded"?

Final question that I think everyone is dying to ask: What the fuck do you see in Jimmy Kimmel?
